Dry Lint Tester

The dry lint tester is mainly used to evaluate the lint generation of various textiles, nonwoven fabrics and other materials under dry conditions.

Working principle and structure

The transparent test box usually has a transparent test box for placing samples. There is a rotating device in the box to drive the solution to rotate, simulating the dynamic situation of the material in actual use or washing. During the rotation process, the lint-dropping equipment will fall, and the amount of lint can be measured by subsequent collection and statistical devices. The control panel is used to set parameters such as rotation time and speed to ensure the consistency of test conditions.

Application field

Textile and clothing industry:

manufacturers use it to test the quality of fabrics, evaluate the possibility of lint-dropping during the wearing, washing and storage of ready-made clothes, and avoid affecting the quality of clothing decoration and consumer experience due to lint-dropping.

Medical and health industry: 

Detect the lint-dropping of medical textiles, such as surgical gowns, bandages, etc. during use, prevent the lint-dropping from entering the wound or medical equipment, and reduce risks.

Filter material industry: 

Test the lint-dropping of filter materials themselves under working conditions, and inhibit the lint-dropping from affecting the filtering effect.
